Lots of people have been asking me about the Primary election. Well, basically the Primary is party election. Each, or every, political party can have multiple candidates for any office. The Primary is for each party to pick their party’s candidature to run in the General election.

What the voters should do is educate them selves about the issues, the problems and the candidates. I tell candidates I want to know why I should vote for them, not why I shouldn’t vote for their opponent. I don’t need them to stand up and remind me of the problems facing the city, county, state or country. I want to hear what they plan to do to help solve the problems!

If you don’t care who is going to be the candidate of your party, then don’t vote- and a lot of people don‘t, either in the Primary or the General election – and, what a revoltin‘ development this is! If you don’t vote, you have no reason to complain about the outcome.

Remember to dress appropriately to go out a vote. Well, really how not to dress to go to the polls. Make it easier on the Election Judges and don’t campaign. Remember, campaigning is not allowed in the vicinity of a polling place. Campaigning can be as simple as a button, or cap, or piece of clothing with a party, or candidates, name on it. It could be something you might not even think of.

After the primary, each party should galvanize behind their candidate. Voters may be subject to lots and lot of bulk mail, automatic or live telephone calls and, possibly, door to door campaign people.
