The Oak Park Area Arts Council is presenting the popular and colorful outsider artwork of Howard McClain. McClain started painting in a class at the Oak Park Arms, a retirement home, and is now a successful artist. Multi-talented McClain has been a singer, a choir director, organist and pianist for 50 years.

Henry Fogel Presents

Henry Fogel will introduce Jana Pavlovska, an award-winning Macedonian pianist and faculty member at Roosevelt University in Chicago, who will perform Chopin and Schumann. After the performance, the audience will be able to meet Pavlovska and Fogel, former president and CEO of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Brookfield Zoo is once again taking part in the annual Zoos Go Blue campaign. Play and a Pint: “True West”

The play is a character study that examines the relationship between two brothers. It is set in the kitchen of their mother’s home, 40 miles east of Los Angeles. A Discussion of Israel’s Anniversary
