Kayak and Canoe the Kish

Sponsored by Kish Valley Wanderers, extended voyage pickup and shuttle service will be available on request. The kayak and canoe route is from Baseline Road to Carroll Memorial Park (approximately 2.5 hours). Participants can come to Carroll Memorial Park first and be shuttled to the drop off location at Baseline Road. A limited amount of canoes will be available upon request 48 hours before the event. Guided Walking Tour

Stephan Bigolin will lead a tour and tell stories behind the buildings located in the heart of downtown Sycamore. The tour will last about an hour. Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

Brats and hot dogs will be served; guests are asked to bring a dish to share for this potluck dinner. Guided tours of the exhibit will be offered, and visitors will be encouraged to take a turn at panning for gold like Preston Jones did during his adventure to Alaska in the 1890s.
