Little Mermaid at the Library

A courageous, adventurous person with big dreams, the Little Mermaid will visit the library before returning to her ocean home and seaside castle. While here, she will read a story, visit with the children and pose for pictures. Children can enjoy ocean-inspired crafts. Registration is not required. Summer Concert in the Park

Pamela Rose and Windy City Country will perform. The band is comprised of guitar, bass, drums, fiddle and lead vocals. Additional instruments played by these musicians are pedal steel, mandolin and keyboard.

Floats and marching units are part of the community participation in the annual parade. Registration to participate in it ends June 28.

Car and Bike Show

In addition to the show, there will be a competition. Cars will be judged for Top 20 Overall and Best of Show. Bikes will be judged for Top 10 Overall and Best of Show. Contestants can register starting at 8 a.m. This is the Sandwich Fire Department’s first car and bike show.

Kirkland’s Fourth of July Celebration
