Stage Coach Players present a play about five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team and who set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives. “The Dixie Swim Club” focuses on four of those weekends over a period of 33 years and is a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships. DeKalb Walk & Roll for Mobility 

8:30 a.m. check-in, 9 a.m. walk starts 

Creative Therapeutics, 400 E. Hillcrest Drive, DeKalb 

$5 individual, $10 family donation 

Walk & Roll for Mobility is a 1.6 one-way walk along the DeKalb Nature Trail from Creative Therapeutics, 400 E. Hillcrest Drive to Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists 232 W. Lincoln Highway, DeKalb. The event proceeds will benefit the Voluntary Action Center. Fun for the whole family — bikes, strollers, walking sticks, and skates welcome. Malta Cider Fest Weekend

Jonamac Orchard, 19412 Shabbona Road, Malta

Jonamac Orchard will celebrate the first cider pressed of the season. Visitors will also be able to sample Jonamac’s apple wine and new hard cider, which is debuting during Cider Fest. This easy “no drop” group for those wanting to get used to riding in a group meets at North Central Cyclery. North Central Cyclery will hold “Safe group riding and proper etiquette” sessions for anyone interested in learning the “dos” and “don’ts” of riding in a group. Any level rider and pace welcome.
