Group Bike Ride

Join North Central Cyclery on its HammerTime group bike ride on Thursdays. This is an advanced ride. Meet in the store parking lot before 5:30 p.m. Cyclists will ride roughly 35 miles southwest of DeKalb at an average pace of 20-25 mph. Call (815) 758-2403 for more information.

Stage Coach Players Presents “The Devil’s Disciples”

“The Devil’s Disciple” takes place during the American Revolution in a New Hampshire village. The story revolves around the rascal, Dick Dudgeon, a young revolutionary raised in a strict puritan home. Dick finds himself in need of true religion and passionately believes in the right of human happiness. This quest leads to potentially life-threatening consequences. Shop, Sip, Socialize #ProudlyDeKalb

Come have a drink, shop and socialize in downtown DeKalb.

Participating downtown businesses include: Hillside Restaurant, The Gaming Goat, SOAS Apparel & Design, My Favorite Things, Kid Stuff, Ducky’s Formal Wear, Urban Grace, Cracker Jax, Carter’s Cottage, AVC & G, MCR Framing, Poppy Seed Primitives and Common Grounds. A raffle for a basket of gift cards valued at more than $300 from the participating shops will be raffled and the proceeds will go to Elder Care of DeKalb. Stores will be offering sidewalk sales and new inventory. The Stage Coach Players and the Garage Orchestra will provide entertainment.
