Sleeping Beauty Character Breakfast

As guests enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast, they will be visited by Sleeping Beauty and friends. Princes and princesses under 12 will receive a special gift. Youngsters are encouraged to dress up in their royal attire. This presentation will be a a non-traditional Sleeping Beauty based on the tradition story. History Speaks: The Woman Who Launched the Environmental Movement

Biologist and author Rachel Carlson warned the world of the potentially dire environmental impact of chemical and pesticides in the bestselling 1962 book, “Silent Spring.” In this living history program set in 1963, actress and historian Leslie Goddard portrays Carson as she discusses her childhood love for the living world, her passion for writing, and her work to awaken the world to the beauty and fragility of nature.
