The Wilder Mansion’s 3rd Annual Girls Nite Out will have you feeling spoiled, pampered and prepared to do tons of tasting, shopping and indulging. Presented by Breakpoint Coffee and sponsored by Yelp, this event will be featuring wine tasting, small bites, art, shopping, giveaways, 5-minute massages and more. The event will feature more than 50 retailers, gourmet food vendors and live music. Tickets will be sold at the door.

As ‘Hamilton: An American Musical’ hits the Chicago stage, Naper Settlement is celebrating Alexander Hamilton’s history. Through a traveling exhibit featuring reproductions from the Gilder Lehrman Collection and the Library of the New York Historical Society, learn how this visionary and founding father helped to shape the America we live in today. The show will also feature Revolutionary War era artifacts from the collection of Naperville residents Todd and Hillary Andrlik. Fall Crawl – A Girl’s Shopping Weekend in Downtown Glen Ellyn is a four-day celebration of grand openings, creative demos, wine tastings, birthday celebrations, trunk shows, special shopping and dining promotions and the Ten Thousand Villages Annual Fair Trade Rug Sale. The tenth season of St. John’s Lutheran Church’s Artist Series presents the Renaissance Quintet in a program entitled “Sounds of the 20th Century,” featuring the music of such varied composers as Beach, Debussy, Gershwin, DeFalla, Korngold, Shostakovich, Prokoviev and Britten. The program will be a musical journey against the backdrop of technological, political and cultural changes of the 20th century. Listeners will be taken to the jazz era, World War I Europe, the Golden Age of Hollywood and Stalinist Soviet Union before arriving in the late 20th Century U.S. A reception will follow, during which the glass art of Sandy McLain will be on display and available for purchase.
