Village Voices 10th Anniversary Concert

Village Voices, a 33-voice community chorus based in Downers Grove, performs a variety of choral music, including jazz, pop, show tunes, folk tunes and spirituals. The public is invited to enjoy the concert and join in the birthday celebration.

Love beer, Chicagoland and history? Learn about the area’s development and social history as it intersects with the brewing industry. Denese Neu, author of “Chicago by the Pint,” will share a creative narrative woven from history, her book and miscellaneous anecdotes picked up during her research and work with the craft beer industry. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Two Brothers, a local brewing company founded in 1996 by brothers Jim and Jason Ebel, will provide appetizers to pair with four beer samplings. Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Spring Member Show

More than 50 Chicago-area artists, all members of the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild, are exhibiting their work in the Guild’s Spring Member Show. Most of the pieces are for sale, and a portion of the proceeds benefits the Guild.
