It was North Aurora’s turn to party the weekend of Aug, 6-7 .

The  parking lot at the intersection of Randall Road and Oak St. was the place to be — especially for kids — who could have their face painted, play bags, scramble onto a carnival rides or watch a performance of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”

North Aurora Days also was marked in other activities around town, including garage sales and a book sale at the library.
