Aurora Story, a comprehensive exhibit of 175 years of Aurora history, Wednesday-Saturday, noon to 4 p.m., David L. Pierce Art and History Center, 20 East Downer, 2nd Floor Gallery, free admission, donations welcome. A comprehensive exhibit of 175 years of Aurora history. Come wander through Aurora as you have never seen it, beginning with native American dwellings and touching on the high points and characteristics of this “city second to none”.

James Jankowiak Art Lecture / Open House, Waubonsee Comm. It brings over 175,000 visitors for harness races, draft horse pulls, carnival rides, demo derby, grandstand shows and the Midwest’s largest display of agricultural and home arts exhibits. Panel Discussion: “Human Trafficking: Global Problem, Local Impact”, Aurora University’s Crimi Auditorium, 1347 Prairie St., Aurora, 7:30 p.m. Senator Mark Kirk and Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow are scheduled to join nonprofit leaders for a discussion about the increasing incidents of human trafficking in the United States and the effect this modern form of slavery is having on society.
