The Fox Valley Park District will stage a series of six free concerts this summer, beginning June 8 with the melodic sounds of 90s rock band 3 AM at Montgomery Park.

The concerts are a collaborative effort involving the Park District and the Village of Montgomery.

All concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. unless noted otherwise. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

June 8: 3 AM at Montgomery Park (River Street and Mill Street, Montgomery). 3AM plays melodic 90s adult rock that remains immensely popular. 3 AM’s sound is packed with emotional intensity and heartfelt soul, with songs from Matchbox 20, Rob Thomas, Goo Goo Dolls, 3 Doors Down and Train, among many others.

June 15: The StingRays at McCullough Park (Route 31 and Illinois Ave., Aurora). The StingRays play some of the greatest rockability songs ever written, with energy, passion and authenticity of artists from the 50s, 60s and 70s whose music they love.  Their look, their music, their famous StingRay moves and their great rapport with audiences have made them repeated favorites across the Midwest.

June 22: Cowboy Jukebox at Montgomery Park. Straight out of the Windy City, Cowboy Jukebox bills itself as the Midwest’s ultimate party country band. From Florida Georgia Line and Miranda Lambert to Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton, they shoot country music straight and true. Get ready for a night of country fun, ‘cuz  these dudes and the darlin’ will have fans covered with a lively, spot-on performance.

June 29: Centerfold at McCullough Park. Back by popular demand, Centerfold delivers a performance that spans great classic rock hits to pop/rock favorites of today. Powered by one of Chicagoland’s most strikingly gifted female vocalists (Cindy Safran), Centerfold energizes audiences of all ages with songs from Journey, Heart, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Carrie Underwood and more.

July 13: Mason Rivers at Montgomery Park. Mason Rivers is the band that rocks country. With its big vocals, big sound and your favorite songs, Mason Rivers is live entertainment performed at a high level.  A high-energy country band that covers the best of today’s country music as well as your favorite classics, Mason Rivers is powered by strong male and female lead vocalists and a rich diversity of musical background and skill, creating an exciting sound that’s bigger than country and stronger than rock.

July 27: Aurora American Legion Band. Set amid the stately oaks and the riverside setting of McCullough Park, the Aurora American Legion band will be performing for its 80th year of service. The band is an eclectic mix featuring all ages – veterans, non-veterans and student musicians – playing patriotic, classical and popular music.
