International Cooking Class: Thailand

The focus is on Thailand this month for the international cooking class. Class will be making Pad Thai, Cucumber Salad and Spring Rolls in this hands-on class. Space is limited to 10 people per program; RSVP is required to (630) 554-5602. Must have a minimum of 4 people.

Edgar Lee Masters’ collection of epitaph poems forms the basis of this ghostly group of monologues and short scenes, as the residents of Spoon River speak from beyond the grave about life, death, love, hate, and their shared humanity.

Bring your notebooks, laptops, and current writing projects or use one of the many prompts provided to “get the juices going.” Participants may wish to pack a lunch and their current crafting works in progress and register for The Crafty Collective program beginning at 1 p.m. Ages 16 and up.
