Magic Tree House Book Club

Knit and Crochet Group

This informal group works on their own projects, discusses types and colors of yarn, and helps each other with new or tricky patterns.  Participants bring their own supplies. No registration required.

Lunch Bunch

Do you enjoy getting out and having lunch, and meeting new people? Lunch will be at Hopscotch and Vine in Plainfield. After lunch, we will be shopping in the Plainfield area. The bus will return to 908 Game Farm Road, Yorkville by 4 p.m. The cost for the bus will be $5. If you are interested in attending the event, contact Senior Services Associates, at (630) 553-5777

International Games Day

Fermilab’s Mr. Freeze show is a fun exciting cryogenic demonstration designed to get kids excited about science, but is fun for everyone. This program is typically for second grade and up, however anyone is able to attend. Registration required. This program is open to the public.

Design with the 3D Printer

Grades 6-12. Learn how to use Tinkercad to design items to print on the 3D printer. Create an account in Tinkercad prior to class or come with a valid email address to create your account. If you already know how to use Tinkercad, you can join us in class or work at home and email your design to hfrailey@oswego.lib.il.us. One item per month per teen will be printed, as long as it is an original design.

Adult Craft Night: Watercolor Paper Leaf & Branch Mobile
