Exploring Women in the Military during WWII

Honor Veteran’s Day by coming in to the library to learn about the inspiring women of WWII from presenter Cyndee Shaffer. Shaffer will share the experiences of her mother’s time in the women’s army during WWII based off of the 350 letters corresponding between her mother and her aunt. No registration is required.

Figure skaters welcome!  We fondly remember the “old days” when clubs hosted “Dance Night.”  For our “Dance Night” Carl DeSanti plays the organ, frequently there is a dance class featuring one of the mid-bronze dances, and then two hours of nonstop dances.
