The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be held in the meeting room during regular library hours. On April 28, all items will be sold for $4 a bag (bags are provided). All VHS tapes and audio cassettes will be given away on the last day of the sale

‘Al Capone and the 1933 World’s Fair’

“Al Capone and the 1933 World’s Fair: The End of the Gangster Era in Chicago” is a historical look at Chicago during the darkest days of the Great Depression. The story of Chicago fighting the hold that organized crime had on the city to be able to put on the 1933 World’s Fair.

Animal Encounters

Meet some of the fuzzy and slimy creatures the live here at Red Oak. Each month features a different animal. Sign up for one or all- space is limited, and the fee goes toward helping care for the animals. All must be registered, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 3 and up.
