This informal group works on their own projects, discusses types and colors of yarns, and helps each other with new or tricky patterns. Participants bring their own supplies.  They invite you to stop by and “yarn” awhile.  No registration required.

Senior Services Associates has coordinated a Heartsaver CPR AED and First Aid Class. BKFD will be collecting the cost on the day of the class. Please have cash or check made out to Bristol Kendall Fire Department.

National Trails Day Hike

Come out to Red Oak and participate in a fun trail hike. With a naturalist leading the way, we’ll fix up a trail or two, while searching for signs of animals and learning about the plants. We’ll end our adventure at the fire pit and roast some marshmallows. Ages 5 & up.

The village has challenged Glen Ellyn to get more steps than we can over the 10 weeks of the summer. Each week we will go toe to toe with residents there seeing which village can get more miles. Monday Miles will be a fun way for both communities to be active, running, walking, or rolling.
