Kendall -- 071515 Crime MAP1. July 2: Ryan Fivecoat, 25, was arrested at the intersection of Fernwood Road and Pendleton Place, Montgomery, and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license.

2. July 3: Juan Escamilla, 35, was arrested at 110 Harbor Drive, Oswego, and charged with domestic battery.

3. July 4: Melvin Holland, 42, was arrested at the intersection of Faxon Road and Eldamain Road, Plano, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked driver’s license, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and driving with one taillight. Holland was transported to Kendall County Jail.

4. July 4: A theft occurred on the 0-100 Block of Marnel Road, Montgomery, in which a laptop and some medication was taken from the residence. Two suspects were identified and the investigation is ongoing.

5. July 4: Richar Barajas, 18, was arrested at the intersection of Douglas Road and Montgomery Road, Montgomery, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.

6. July 5: Kyle Bullis, 28, was arrested at the intersection of Boulder Hill Pass and Circle Drive East, Montgomery, and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Bullis was transported to Kendall County Jail.

7. July 5: A burglary to a motor vehicle occurred on the 5800 Block of Danielle Lane, Yorkville, in which an unknown individual entered the victim’s vehicle and removed several items. Police are currently investigating the incident.

8. July 7: Jeremiah Benjamin, 23, was arrested at the intersection of Route 34 and Cherry Road, Oswego, and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license, obstructing a peace officer, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a vehicle without proper registration. Benjamin was transported to Kendall County Jail.

9. July 7: Burglaries occurred at the 8000 Block of Van Emmon Road, Yorkville, in which four trailers were broken into and electronics were taken. Police are currently investigating the incident.

10. July 7: Criminal damage to property occurred on the 0-100 Block of Amesbury Road, Montgomery, in which damage was caused to the victim’s car. Police are currently investigating the incident.

11. July 8: Stephanie Longmire, 24, was arrested on the 5200 Block of Douglas Road, Oswego, and charged with domestic battery and assault. Longmire was transported to Kendall County Jail.

12. July 9: A burglary occurred at the 8000 Block of Van Emmon Road, Yorkville, in which a computer and approximately $1,154 was taken from a safe. Police are currently investigating the incident.

13. July 10: Sara Nicholson, 30, was arrested at the intersection of Route 71 and Orchard Road, Oswego, and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended driver’s license. Nicholson was transported to Kendall County Jail.

14. July 10: Peter Nicholson, 35, was arrested at the intersection of Route 71 and Orchard Road, Oswego, and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Nicholson was transported to Kendall County Jail.

15. July 11: Demetrius Cullum, 49, was arrested at 2400 Light Road, Oswego, on an in-state warrant out of Maywood. Cullum was transported to Kendall County Jail.

 

Burglaries

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding burglaries of several campers at Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground, 8045 Van Emmon Road, Yorkville. The incidents were reported on 07/07/2015 and believed to have occurred between 07/05/2015 and 07/07/2015. Electronic items were taken during the burglaries. The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report numbers are 2015-2078, 2079, 2080, and 2081.

Anyone with information on this or other crimes is urged to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at (630) 553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the offenders.

Seeking information in string of motor vehicle burglaries

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on several motor vehicle burglaries that have occurred in the past week. The burglaries occurred in the early morning hours of July 2, in the Fox Lawn subdivision in Yorkville and the Boulder Hill subdivision in Montgomery.

Burglaries have also occurred in the early morning hours of July 6 in the Rosehill and Fields of Farm Colony subdivisions in Yorkville. Unlocked vehicles were targeted by the thieves.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles and immediately report any suspicious activity they witness by calling 9-1-1. When reporting suspicious activity, please attempt to obtain the license plate numbers of any vehicles involved as well as clothing descriptions of any subjects involved.
