Nature and Family Author Speaks at Eureka College March 25

EUREKA – Author John T. Price will speak at 7:30 p.m. March 25 in Becker Auditorium in the Cerf Center at Eureka College. Admission is $5. Price is a professor of English at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he teaches nonfiction writing. He also is a fellow at the Black Earth Institute.
Price’s nonfiction writing about nature, family and spirit has appeared in journals, magazines, newspapers and anthologies, including Orion, The Christian Science Monitor, Creative Nonfiction, Isotope and Best Spiritual Writing 2000. His works include Man Killed by Pheasant and Other Kinships and Not Just Any Land: A Personal and Literary Journey into the American Grasslands.
Price received a bachelor’s degree in religion, master’s degree in nonfiction writing and doctorate in English, all from the University of Iowa. He received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts.
