OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Offers Fighting Fat After 40

BLOOMINGTON – As bodies age, they change and their metabolism can slow down. Many people challenge to control their weight while still feeling full after eating. Gaining weight does not have to be uncontrollable when reaching the later stages of life. Join Kim McClintic, MS, RD, LDN, as she hosts “Fighting Fat after 40” to address how to change lifestyle strategies, share tips to help fight fat, and improve overall health. Kim discuses how hormonal changes can also affect weight gain.
Class will meet from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 23, in the Center for Healthy Lifestyles at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. Cost of the class is $15 and includes a Jimmy John’s sandwich, fruit and a drink.
