Relieve Stress With Yoga This Holiday Season: 3 Chances

EUREKA – What if you could learn skills to help you slow down and enjoy life a bit more each day, even during the busy times that come with the holiday season?

You can! Yoga offers a variety of movement and breathing techniques to help relax and energize the body, sending you more calmly into your daily activities. Join Peg Toliver, a certified yoga instructor from Eureka, as she offers a series of yoga classes during November and December. Toliver has taught beginning and intermediate yoga classes at Healthy Arts Physical Therapy for the last year and now will be adding a new class at Eureka Community Hospital on Monday evenings.
Stretch, Strengthen and Reduce Stress
5:30-6:30 PM at Eureka Community Hospital
Unwind from a day at work with a class open to beginners and those already familiar with yoga. This one-hour long class will focus on stretching and toning muscles, targeting those areas that accumulate stress throughout the day (neck, shoulders, lower back). Class includes gentle warm ups, energizing and playful balance and strength poses, and strategies for increasing flexibility and reducing stress throughout the week. This 6-week class is limited to 8 people so there is plenty of opportunity for individual attention. Early Bird Yoga at Healthy Arts 6 AM – 6:45 AM

Early Bird Yoga is a 4-week class open to beginners and beyond, helping to start the day with slow stretches that expand into energizing and strength-building poses to help you greet the day with a relaxed and more flexible body and mind. Beginning Yoga Holiday Package at Healthy Arts
