Belleville taking applications for Citizen Police Academy

The Belleville Police Department is accepting applications for the Citizen Police Academy which will be held from April 11 through May 30.

All classes will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The classes will be taught by members of the Belleville Police Department as well as members of other law enforcement agencies.

The Belleville Police Department would like to extend an invitation to those interested in learning about the duties of law-enforcement officers.

The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity to gain a clearer insight into certain aspects of law enforcement while partaking in this learning environment.
