The O’Fallon Illinois Police Department is currently investigating a report of a physical attack of a resident which occurred on the 900 block of Jordan St. on Thursday, February 5th around 11a.m.
The suspect is described as a white male, 40 years of age, 6’00-6’02/ 170+ lbs, dark hair, and wearing a black hat, black suit style coat, white dress shirt, black tie, black shoes, gloves and sunglasses.
The attack took place at the front door of the residence. After a short struggle, the suspect fled the scene in a unknown direction. The victim suffered minor injuries and was transported by EMS to a local hospital where she was later released.
As a safety reminder, residents should be aware of their surroundings at all times and not open doors for individuals they are not familiar with. If suspicious activity is observed, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
