Since 1849 the destinies of the city of Aurora and the Burlington Railroad have been intertwined. Leo Phillipp is a former railroad brakeman and conductor. He’s worked all types of train operations in the Aurora area including clearing derailments. He’s directed fleet services for the largest tank car owner and lessor in North America and currently purchases retired railroad cars for parts, recycling and other uses.
