Andrea Parker Named Executive Director of the Hult Center for Healthy Living

Parker_Andrea_2015_cmykPEORIA – The Hult Center for Healthy Living, part of UnityPoint Health – Methodist | Proctor, has named Andrea Parker, R.N., M.S., its Executive Director. Andrea Parker has more than thirty years’ experience as a registered nurse with a background in public and community health, having most recently served as Regional Health Officer for the Illinois Department of Public Health in the Peoria and Champaign regions. Parker is a recognized health leader in the community with an extensive list of awards and achievements, including Bradley University’s Mildred Pflederer Memorial Alumni Award for contributions to public health nursing, the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Exceptional Achievement Award, and induction into the Peoria African American Hall of Fame Museum. Parker served as Assistant Professor of Nursing at Bradley University and has published several articles on health topics in Peoria Medicine, the Official Journal of the Peoria Medical Society.
