Hungarian Organist to Play Liszt in October

PEORIA – On Friday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. István Ruppert, Professor of Organ at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, will play an organ concert of music of Franz Liszt and other Hungarian composers.

The first half of his program will consist of six organ works by Liszt including the great Bach Prelude and Fugue while the second half will include works by Bartok and Kodaly among other contemporary composers.
The concert will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1420 W. Moss Ave., Peoria. Admission is $12 Adults / $10 Senior Citizens / Free for Children and Students with ID. This is concert is sponsored by the Peoria Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO). Patrons of the Peoria AGO receive a free admission to all concerts of the AGO Concert Artist Series.
