EUREKA – The 2014 golf season for Kaufman Park Golf Course Women’s League will begin with the luncheon on Tuesday, April 29 at noon at Denharts in Washington. For reservations please call Marilyn Walter, 467-3881; Elaine Hartter, 467-3856; or Nancy Maccari, 744-2210; by April 17.

The KPGC Women’s League members gather every Tuesday morning at the golf course to play. Different events are scheduled each week. The last Tuesday of each month – May through September – groups of members prepare lunch for all of the ladies after playing golf. A Fun Day is scheduled in June, and in August a Club Tournament is held. The course is located on the west edge of Eureka along Route 24.

Scrambles are held the last Wednesday of each month except September. Tee off is at 8:30 AM. All ladies are welcome whether a member of the League or not.

Any woman in the area who enjoys playing golf and would like to join the KPGCWL is invited to call the ladies listed above for further information. Dues are $25. There is no age limit.
