‘Speaking of Liberty’ Announces Transition

EUREKA – In a letter to a young lawyer, Abraham Lincoln gave the advice to host “regular meetings and speeches.” Several Woodford residents have taken this advice to heart, and are pleased to announce that Eureka Toastmasters has transitioned into ‘Speaking of Liberty.’ The transformed event will meet in the Woodford County Republican Headquarters on the Eureka Square the 2nd Thursday of each month at 11:00 AM.

There are no fees, expenses or membership needed to participate in Speaking of Liberty. The group focuses on developing our first Amendment Rights, especially freedom of speech. The monthly event is hosted by the officers of Speaking of Liberty. Susan Irick, President; Max Rexroad, Vice-President and Reithel Mercer, Speaker Representative. Reithel prepares speakers to speak in the community.
