IGA and Dollar General stores

Volunteers assist the distribution of the Poppy in return for donations that support the programs carried out by the American Legion Post 466 Auxiliary.

SUNDAY, MAY 24

Civil War Dance demonstration

Sunday, May 24

1 p.m.

Peoria Riverfront Museum, 222 SW Washington

Free with paid museum admission

The Metamora Courthouse Civil War Dancers will perform in full costume. Dances included will be several that were performed at Lincoln’s inaugurals.

MONDAY, MAY 25

Eureka Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Monday, May 25

10:30 – noon

Parade begins at the High School and proceeds to the Civil War Monument in Olio Cemetery
