Kite Fest

The skies will be alive with kites as Elmhurst welcomes some of the Midwest’s best professional kite flyers for the 3rd annual Kite Fest. See stunts and tricks from professional kite flyers. Paws in the Park

Paws in the Park is a rain-or-shine fundraiser to support the Naperville Area Humane Society. Leashed dogs welcome and encouraged to join the fun. Family and dog-friendly activities include: Frisbee dogs, animal communicator, contests, photo booth,

Wheaton Beer Fest

This event promises to have something for every kind of beer drinker. Fest will feature more than 25 breweries, music and food from Wheaton’s favorite restaurants. General admission is $45 and general admission Designated Driver ticket is $20. VIP admission is $75 and VIP Designated Driver ticket is $35. This is a 21+ event, and a portion of its proceeds will benefit CASA of DuPage County and the DuPage County Historical Museum.

Dance Performance

The Naperville Park District’s Élan Dance Company will perform. The company is a pre-professional, regional company that provides an entry point into the world of dance performance. The company performs various genres of dance and has three levels: Junior Company (ages 9-12), Senior Company (ages 12-18) and the Apprentice Company.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

7:30 p.m.

Villa Park Library, 305 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park

Come for a bedtime storytime with milk and cookies. Be sure to bring one of your favorite stuffed animal friends. At the end of the evening, the library staff will tuck them into bed so that they can have a slumber party at the library. Return in the morning for a light breakfast with your stuffed animal friend. Lake Ellyn Boathouse Tour

Lake Ellyn Boathouse, 645 Lenox Road, Glen Ellyn

Come to see the newly renovated and historically restored Lake Ellyn Boathouse and outside amenities. Tours and rental information will be available and light snacks will be served.
