A pop culture feast at Pheasant Run

sub-113016-pop-culture-color-1If it had anything to do with popular culture, it was likely to be found at Pheasant Run Resort’s Mega Center and last weekend’s 2016 Chicago Pop Culture Show and Sale.

During the two-day event visitors could dress up as their favorite super hero or fantasy character, peruse and purchase comic books and art, play vintage video and pinball games, and find movie posters entertainment items and sports paraphernalia from dozens of vendors.

sub-113016-pop-culture-color-4There were also a series of guests ranging from former pro football star Fred “The Hammer” Williamson, 1985 Chicago Bears legend Steve McMichael, several pro wrestling figures, Chicago TV icon Svengoolie plus comic book writers, artistic and animators.
