Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a beginner yoga class led by Northern Rehab’s 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Jenna Bacchi, with the goal focusing on improving flexibility, range of motion, balance, stress reduction and relaxation. Yoga mats will be provided, but participants may bring their own. Call (815) 756.8524 to reserve a spot or for more information.

Northern Illinois Bridal Expo

A highlight of this expo will be a runway show featuring Kenneth Winston bridal dress designs. Three ballrooms will be filled with vendors, artists, crafters, dresses and vendors, showing everything needed for the special day. Martin Luther King Memorial Concert

The Best Picture Film Series

The Egyptian Theatre is holding its 2018 Best Picture Film Series through March 6, featuring Oscar Best Picture winning films from each decade. The next film in the series is “The Bridge On the River Kwai.” This 1957 film is an adaptation of the Pierre Bouelle novel about POWs in Burma forced to build a bridge to aid the war effort of their Japanese captors. British and American officers plot to blow up the structure, but the commander of the bridge’s construction has different plans. Rated PG
