The festivities begin with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Knights of Columbus at Indian Trail Junior High School. The rest of the day’s activities include a Veterans Resource Fair, visits to the Addison Historical Museum, community march to St. Paul Cemetery, flag posting and observance at the cemetery and a ceremony at Village Hall.

99th Annual Elmhurst Memorial Day

The Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in cooperation with the City of Elmhurst, Elmhurst Park District and Elmhurst veterans’ organizations, invites the public to the 99th Annual Elmhurst Memorial Day Parade. The parade will step off from the Elmhurst City Centre at Third and York and will proceed to the Elmhurst Veterans Memorial in Wilder Park. Following the parade, will be a post-parade military ceremony at Wilder Park.

Wheaton Memorial Day Parade

The parade, organized by the American Legion Post 76, will be led by the Wheaton police and fire departments. The parade will begin at the corner of Hale and Wesley streets and proceed west on Wesley Street to West Street then south on West Street to the Wheaton Cemetery. The post will hold a ceremony at the cemetery.

Naperville Memorial Day Parade

Free
The Naperville Memorial Day Parade will follow the route west from Mill Street along Jackson Avenue, north up Washington Street to Benton Avenue and into Central Park. In the parade, there will be units of veterans with flags and marching bands with musicians, young and old, performing patriotic songs. Naperville Municipal Band will perform immediately after the parade.
