Benedictine University  rallied in the second half to log a 63-60 win over 15th-ranked Amherst College in Friday’s NCAA Division III national semifinals.

The the only unbeaten team at any level of NCAA men’s basketball, the Eagles will play in Saturday’s NCAA championship game against either No. 4 Christopher Newport or No. 8 St. Thomas.

Despite scoring a season low point total, Benedictine held a commanding 50-30 edge on the glass and survived a pair of three-point attempts in the final seconds to win.

Michael Blaszczyk logged 15 points to pace Benedictine while Luke Johnson finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for his 17th double-double.
