Lombard police and other law enforcement agencies responded Saturday, May 4 to a report of a possible armed individual at Yorktown Center Shopping Mall. 

At 4:10 p.m. May 4, officers arrived at the mall and determined that the report was not credible and there was no threat to the public. 

The incident remains under investigation as a “swatting” call – a false report of a person with a gun.
