Robber hits third bank in DuPage County area

The FBI is seeking this individual in connection with three west suburban bank robberies, the latest being Tuesday (Dec. 19) in Glen Ellyn.

The FBI is seeking an offender who has robbed three west suburban banks in the past month.

The latest heist was at 1:19 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 19) at Fifth Third Bank, 704 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn.

FBI agents say the same individual committed two other robberies:

  • 11:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at Fifth Third Bank, 2998 Ogden Ave., Aurora.
  • 12:40 p.m. Dec. 7 at PNC Bank, 9 E. Ogden Ave., Naperville.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual.

He is described as white, in his 30s to 40s, between 6’0” and 6’2”, and having a medium build and light complexion.

The offender wore a brown hat, dark blue winter coat, black winter gloves and black sunglasses in the robberies. He carried a black messenger bag with him.

FBI agents said the individual should be considered armed and dangerous.
