Both courses opened for play last Friday, with spring discounted rates in effect.

“Golfers will be pleased to see that the clubhouse interiors at both courses have been updated and renovated over the winter,” said Kevin Carlson, Superintendent of Golf for the Naperville Park District.  “The restrooms at both clubhouses were completely gutted, and the tile, ceilings, fixtures, and lighting were replaced. New doors and windows, new carpet and new paint have refreshed the appearance throughout both facilities,” added Carlson.

Naperbrook Golf Course, celebrating its 25th anniversary, will continue to undergo renovations this spring, including a new front desk at the pro shop and a new counter in the eatery.  Additionally, a pergola structure will be added to Naperbrook’s patio to provide shade from the afternoon sun.

Spring golf discount rates will be in effect from opening day until the regular season begins—usually in mid-April, depending on the weather.

Registration is now underway for the first tournament of the season, the annual Partner Best Ball Challenge, held at Naperbrook Golf Course on April 9. Deadline to register is April 3.

Registration for tournaments, leagues, lessons, outings, or tee times is available online at www.golfnaperville.org.
