Downtown Aurora’s RiverEdge Park has announced four new concerts for Chicago’s 2017 outdoor summer concert season.

Pop, R&B and hip hop heartthrob Jason Derulo will perform live at RiverEdge on Friday, Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. In just a few years, Derulo has gone from writing songs for the biggest stars like Lil Wayne, Pitbull and Diddy, to playing his own arsenal of pop, R&B and hip-hop hits.

Today, Derulo is one of the hottest musicians around, selling over 50 million singles and racking up three billion views on YouTube and Spotify. Tickets are $40.

Kick up your spurs, because when it comes to hot Southern rock, it doesn’t get any bigger or better than Southern Uprising Tour with Travis Tritt, Montgomery Gentry, The Marshall Tucker Band and The Outlaws. Southern Uprising Tour hits the RiverEdge stage Thursday, Aug. 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45 through May 31; $55 starting June 1.

Back in 2017 is Aurora’s popular Downtown Alive! series, presenting tribute bands The Chicago Experience, Friday, July 7, and American English, Friday, Aug. 4.

Both shows start at 8 p.m. Tickets are only $3 (just $1 if you buy tickets by May 31).

Tickets for all four shows are now on sale today at  RiverEdgeAurora.com. Phone and in-person sales start Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m.
