Water levels were on the low side, but conditions were otherwise near-perfect at last Sunday’s 51st annual Mid-American Canoe and Kayak Race which conducted six- and 10-mile runs south on the Fox River to a terminus and party site at Aurora’s McCullough Park.

An estimated 900 paddlers participated, not counting a gaggle of geese who considered dipping into the river.  All photos by News Bulletin staff.
