North Central: 2012-13 Season Offers Variety of Big-Name Entertainment Choices

North Central College’s 2012-2013 Fine and Performing Arts Season offers a variety of big-name entertainers.

Dionne Warwick, The Oak Ridge Boys, Bernadette Peters, Branford Marsalis, Sara Evans, Five for Fighting and Celtic Woman are among the highlights of the upcoming season. Tickets for individual performances are on sale beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, by calling the box office at 630-637-SHOW (7469) or by visiting northcentralcollege.edu/showtix.

“We are thrilled to once again bring these great artists to the community,” says Fine Arts Director Brian Lynch. “As long as patrons and sponsors continue to support us, we will continue providing a wide variety of the best entertainers in the business.”
Patrons may buy discounted tickets to seven different series: Á la Carte, Cabaret, Classical, Contemporary, Family, Jazz and Performing Arts. The Á la Carte Series allows patrons to choose their seats at a reduced rate when purchasing tickets to five or more shows in any series or additional events.
North Central College’s student and faculty musicians, actors and artists will be featured in numerous events, and the season includes a full schedule of exhibits in the College’s three art galleries.
