University of Illinois Extension McLean County Master Gardeners have revamped a garden at Westview Park in Gridley into a plant oasis for all to enjoy.

Taking out overgrown shrubs and replacing them with flowering plants will not only attract the community’s praises, but butterflies and bees.

The goal this year is to provide gardening classes, youth education and involve more community members in the care of this Gridley treasure.
