EUREKA – University of llinois Extension in Woodford County sponsors an “informal but informational” walk-in Diabetic Clinic once a month at the Extension office, 109 E. Eureka Avenue. The clinic is free and open to the public. No registration necessary. 

The September 20th topic is Managing Diabetes During Special Food Events and will be taught by Dietetic Interns and Jenna Smith, University of Illinois Extension Nutrition Educator.
Programs are held the 3rd Thursday of the month at 1:30 PM and usually take about an hour. There are no clinics in July and December.
The educational events are designed especially for people living with diabetes. Healthcare professionals will discuss nutrition, portion control and how to make smart food choices for better health.
Future topics are Cooking with Herbs and Spices on October 18, and Understanding Food Labels on November 15.
