EUREKA – Registration continues through June 1 for the 2012 Summer Reading program at the Eureka Public Library. Theme for this year is “Reading is SO Delicious!”. Readers can register at the library during regular library hours.

At registration, children ages 3 through 6th grade can pick up a book log to keep track of reading, a calendar of events with details about programs and activities, a “potato head” to create and return, and other fun activities to take home.
Activities begin June 4 and will include six weeks of reading, prizes, contests, crafts, Story Times, movies, Munch-a-Lunch Picnic Bunch, special programs and more.
Young adult readers 7th grade through high school and adult readers can also register during this time. Anyone who needs more information on the Summer Reading Program can call the Eureka Public Library at 467-2922.
