New System CEO at Edward-Elmhurst Health

Mary Lou Mastro, President and CEO of Elmhurst Hospital, will become System CEO of Edward-Elmhurst Health following the retirement of Pam Davis on June 30, 2017. A news release said Davis and Mastro will be system co-CEOs starting Jan. 1 “to facilitate a smooth transition.”

Jean Lydon has been named Chief Nursing Officer of Elmhurst Hospital effective Jan. 1.

It was also announced that Pamela Dunley, now Chief Operating Officer/Chief Nursing Officer of Elmhurst Hospital, has been appointed President and CEO of the hospital effective Jan. 1.

Along with Dunley’s appointment, two other executives have been promoted at Elmhurst Hospital effective Jan. 1: Laura Eslick, to Chief Operating Officer, and Jean Lydon to Chief Nursing Officer.

Fitness Center Accredited

Medical Fitness Facility by the Medical Fitness Association (MFA). “The recertification means the Northwestern Medicine Delnor Health & Fitness Center meets guidelines set by the MFA to ensure that our programs and services deliver medically integrated outcomes to its members, in addition to meeting quality and safety standards,” Brian Babka, MD, Northwestern Medicine Physician Regional Medical Group Sports Medicine, said in a statement about the recertification.
