Geneva French Market, brings farm fresh produce, fresh flowers, baked goods, jewelry, handbags and more to downtown every Sunday from mid-April to mid-November. The market is held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Metra Train Station at Fourth and South streets.

Wine Down Wednesday Polo, Arranmore Farm & Polo Club, 34 Rance Road, 5-8 p.m. Late afternoon match open to the public. All vehicles tailgate for the ultimate polo experience. The Smithereens With Special Guest Vocalist Marshall Crenshaw, Arcada Theater, 105 E Main Street St. Charles. The Smithereens are an American rock band from Carteret, New Jersey, United States. The group formed in 1980 with members Pat DiNizio (vocals and guitar), Jim Babjak (guitar and vocals), Mike Mesaros (bass guitar and vocals), and Dennis Diken (drums and percussion).
