TED talks are recorded presentations on a number of topics that are available online. This month’s video is entitled “The Unheard Story of the Sistine Chapel.” Every 2nd Wednesday of the month, the Oswego Senior Center will watch a TED Talk or two, then discuss our thoughts on the matter. We are excited to revisit our original radio play version of the holiday classic, “A Christmas Caro” based on the novel by Charles Dickens. Ebenezer Scrooge is a cynical old curmudgeon with little patience for holiday cheer all around him during the Christmas season. After a Christmas Eve visit from several ghosts, Scrooge must confront his own beliefs and isolationism.

The Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group is held on the third Thursday of the month at 1 p.m., FVOAS provides information, support and fellowship for individuals and families who are caregivers. Join them to share, listen and find help dealing with one of life’s most intense challenges. There is no charge.
