“The Greatest Showman”

Andreas Kapsalis is a Greek-American guitarist and composer born in the suburbs of Chicago. He is touring extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe to promote his solo release, titled “Andreas Kapsalis Live at The Old Town School of Folk Music,” recorded live in Chicago. He will perform selections from the album.

She is from Mexico where she developed a career as a theater artist and educator touring national and internationally with puppets, dramatized readings and her own productions, has worked in Chicago since 1999 as an actor, teaching artist and art-culture-education promoter. 

Cooking Around the World

The history, culture and cuisine of Mexico will be taught in this cooking session. A chef will focus on the country’s history and culture and how it influenced the cuisine. There will be a food sampling. 

Starlight Concert

Tasha, a fast-rising poet, singer-songwriter and activist, will perform. Before the concert, there will be a Juneteenth celebration with food trucks beginning at 6 p.m.
