EUREKA – Wendy Olson of Eureka will teach the making of an Easter fabric craft at the March 20 meeting of the Woodford County Sewing Guild. The meeting will be held at 7:00 PM in the Community Room of Maple Lawn, 700 N. Main St. in Eureka. All materials are free and everyone goes home with something they have made. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Wendy is the treasurer of the Woodford County Sewing Guild which is a neighborhood group of the Peoria Chapter of the American Sewing Guild. Meetings featuring demonstrations and show-and-tell are held monthly. It’s a casual group who welcome all who are interested in needlecraft.

At the April 17 meeting Carol Luginbuhl, president of the Peoria Chapter, will demonstrate many uses for boiled wool.
