Jillian Bober of Metamora was the winner of the American Girl Doll Raffle sponsored by the Metamora Woman’s Club. The announcement of the winner was made at the Old Settlers Festival. Priscilla Whipp of East Peoria won the Gift Card Bouquet featuring $535 worth of gift cards towards local merchandise.

Jillian’s new doll is Grace, a 2015 addition to the American Girl dolls. In addition to the doll, Jillian won several doll outfits.

The proceeds from the raffle will benefit summer scholarships for Metamora Township High School students.

Businesses that donated cards or gift certificates for the Gift Card Bouquet were Casey’s, Curves, Didley’s, Flame family Restaurant, Geo’s Pizza, Germantown Grille, Kouri’s, Metamora Fields, Metamora IGA, Michael’s Italian Feast in Germantown Hills, Monical’s Pizza in Washington, Pizza Hut in Germantown Hills, Redbird Express Mart, Simply Signs & Screenprinting, Town & Country in Germantown Hills, and Washington’s Kroger store.
