Visit the Midwest Museum of Natural History all decked out for the holidays. View trees decorated by local businesses and not-for-profit organizations displayed within the museum’s permanent galleries. All proceeds benefit the museum.

Dec. 21

Wrap It Up!
1:30-3 p.m.

Learn how to perfectly wrap presents. All supplies and some spare boxes will be provided. Participants should bring boxed gifts (no single dimension larger than 12 inches) and an instructor will show how to wrap it like a pro. Participants have to be at least 12 years old (10- and 11 year-olds are welcome if accompanied by an adult). Class size is limited. Santa Visits

Santa will chat with all his young friends at the library. He will pass out candy canes and visit briefly with anyone who visits the Children’s Department. Workshop Wednesday: 3-D Snowman
1-2:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m. sessions

At Workshop Wednesday, youngsters can learn the free, web-based 3D Design Program TinkerCAD and design their own snowman. After class, the snowmen will be produced on a 3-D printer and will be able to be picked up in a few days for free. Participants have to be at least 12 years old (10- and 11 year-olds are welcome if accompanied by an adult). Class size is limited. Books and Barks

Books and Barks is a program that provides children with an opportunity to practice their reading skills by reading aloud to a Canine Good Citizen.
